How SALT coaching works

A stronger business, not a more dependent founder.

Coaching creates the clarity, leadership alignment, and operating discipline your team needs to grow without routing every important decision back through you.

The first 90 days

Move from recurring problems to a working rhythm.

The foundation is built around the real business, not a generic classroom exercise. Each stage produces decisions and habits the leadership team can use immediately.

01

Before day 1

Name the real constraint

The coffee conversation tests the pattern beneath the presenting problem and whether both sides are ready for an honest coaching relationship.

02

Days 1-30

See the whole business

Direction, people, numbers, meetings, process, technology, sales, and relationships are examined together so the team does not optimise one area while weakening another.

03

Days 31-60

Align the leadership team

The team agrees the priorities, ownership, scorecard, and meeting rhythm required for the next stage. Ambiguity becomes visible and discussable.

04

Days 61-90

Make execution dependable

Leaders practise the rhythm, solve live issues, and build evidence that commitments can survive a difficult week without the founder carrying everything.

After the foundation

A simple cadence keeps the hard work visible.

01

Weekly

Leaders review priorities and useful numbers, surface issues early, and leave with clear owners and actions.

02

Quarterly

The team steps out of daily operations, reviews the whole system, and agrees the few priorities that will create the most leverage.

03

Ongoing

Vincent asks, challenges, and holds the team to its own commitments. The goal is stronger judgement, not dependence on the coach.

The working agreement

Challenge works when both sides commit.

SALT is practical and demanding, but never performative. The value comes from honest conversations followed by visible action.

The founder and team bring
  • Bring the issue you are most tempted to avoid.
  • Share the numbers needed to see the truth.
  • Let leaders own decisions instead of rescuing them.
  • Make fewer commitments and complete them.
Vincent brings
  • Ask before advising and listen beneath the presenting problem.
  • Challenge beliefs without forcing a borrowed answer.
  • Keep meetings structured, useful, and tied to execution.
  • Hold the team accountable without becoming another manager.

A strong fit

You have traction, a leadership team, and the willingness to face the real issue.

You are not looking for motivation or someone to run the company for you. You want a disciplined outside perspective that helps the team make and keep better commitments.

Probably not yet

SALT is unlikely to help if...

  • You need emergency turnaround execution rather than coaching.
  • The founder is unwilling to share decisions or useful numbers.
  • The leadership team cannot make time for a consistent rhythm.
  • You want answers imposed without changing how the team thinks.

The next useful step

Know the bottleneck before we discuss the solution.

Take the diagnostic for an instant starting point, or bring the recurring problem directly to a no-pressure coffee conversation.
